Are you... sure your world doesn't have magic? It's not really all that easy to prove something doesn't exist. If you don't know how the world originated, perhaps it did originate from magic, and you just don't know it. Tapping into magic isn't exactly an easy feat to accomplish, and usually requires great training in the body, heart, mind, and spirit.
