Well when you die that is the normal response, yes. It would probably take an exceptionally strong practitioner of magic, or something of that nature, to become a spirit you or I would actually be capable of seeing. I do think that a spirit would likely be able to transfer this Chakra you are referring to, but it would likely need some sort of motivation to do so. In our world, most spirit charmers allow the spirit to feed off of the energy of their soul in exchange for power.
