It seems quite possible! I think our worlds may actually be pretty close to each other actually, like perhaps at one point in history, some people from my world found a way to yours, and adapted to the ways of your world while still keeping some of their traditions... Or perhaps vice versa even.

I mean your world also has summoners that use black magic, right? I don't think that's quite that universal a thing to be just coincidence.
